I have been data basing collections for PBI: Solanum and have been using sequence data to investigate species boundaries and relationships in the genus Solanum, especially in section Brevantherum. In addition, I am working on testing the phylogenetic relationships in a possible sister clade of Solanum formed by Capsicum and Lycianthes.
